    hi i am interested in receiving t.v. stations in spanish
    im in galway will i need a very big dish and what would be
    a good receiver to pick up encrypted signals

    Point any 80cm dish at Astra 19 Degrees,a Lidl Comag receiver is about £50,works fine ,but encryption we dont know.

    Most of the (interesting) spanish channels are encrypted. D+ spain is not selling subscriptions outside Spain. So best satellites for remaining FTA channels would be Astra1 19°e or Hispasat 30°w. 80cm are sufficient. 60cm might do aswell in good weather.
