    Hi,

Just wandering if I will recieve an Ordinary degree or cert or whatever if anything! I am currently in my 4th year of Business but have no interest in the course or subjects what so ever and have decided not to repeat the exams which I have now failed 3 times. I have completed 3 years, 1 of which was the Intra placement and have about 20 or 30 credits from the exams I passed in 4th year. Will I recieve anything for progressing this far? Any help with this would be appreciated, thanks.

yh man seriously you will regret it ur nearly finished, i dropped out of a course 4 yrs ago biggest mistake i ever made. Now im back in college finishing my course. Just get help from people in ur class with the repeats, bite ur lip for the 4th year get a degree and then u can go off and do whatever u want and u will always have ur degree to fall back on to get you a job. If u drop out now you will reget it down the line.

I think you are only allowed 4 attempts at the exams so this means I have 1 attempt left and I have 5 exams to repeat! This would mean practically repeating the whole year as a couple of exams include projects and continuous assesments which would also have to be repeated and Im just not interested anymore. I know it seems like such a waste but I have decided to get a job and go study something that interests me maybe part time or at night.

What subjects do you have to repeat?

don't drop out u don't get any qualification!! hang in there and put in the work over the next few weeks plus if you do the work next year then you'll be able to earn money and do whatever u want instead of being in debt in another course.

Ah, hang in there - you're 75% of the way there. Get the degree and then you can look at something else.

Dropping out could be a bit of an issue for your CV in the future too. Do you list 3 years completed and that you dropped out? Or do you leave a 3 year gap on your CV, to be possibly asked about at interview?

Doing three years and then dropping out at the end of your 4th looks very, very bad on a CV. It looks worse than doing 1 year and dropping out to go do something else as you could just say it wasn't for you.

Three years and then dropping out looks like failure to put it very bluntly. It means nothing but bad things when it comes to job applications.

Knuckle down, get into college every single day and grind your teeth enough to pass, whether you get a passing degree or a 2.2 at least it shows that you've seen it through.

It's not like you'd be missing out on many sunny days down on the beach :)
