i haven't a wii, but just incase someone wants to know, TF isn't worth buying for the DS. I downloaded it :) and it just wasts valuable room . camera is terrible on it aswell, car models are very very basic and it just isn't pretty. Its nice that it's free roaming but it's obvious they had to make big sacrifices!

Played the Wii version and it stinks, as said the camera really lets the whole thing down, not that it wasn't a fairly limited title to begin with, better off buying Transformers on the PS2 from a couple of years ago, closer to the original material of the cartoons and looks and plays a lot better too.
And its probably only 15 euro.

I wouldn't by any game based on a movie. They are always rushed and thrown together in time for the movie release, no matter what it is...Transformers,Shrek 3,Harry Potter etc etc

I played it a bit on PS2 in a shop. Its very very basic, not a patch on the Transformers Armada game that came out on PS2 a few years ago.

    Advice:
Get a decent transformers game, i.e. this one:

    http://www.eurogamer.net/article.php?article_id=55753
    http://www.play.com/Games/PlayStation2/4-/160237/Transformers/Product.html

They should have just rereleased this excellent game and given it a next-gen spruce-up for the 360.

that assumption is entirely wrong i'm glad to say.

got it on the ps3, what a waste. returned it the next day :D

if you want a fix, get the atari game from 2004. much better affair. the only good transformers game ever made...

Thats the one I was talking about Retrogamer!
Its a smashing game, big open levels, classic Transformer vehicles, and that way groovy sound when they transform.

Aye, it was a shockingly overlooked title. One of my fave PS2 games

Ive read this thread because i forget there was TR game but after finishing, it got thinkin. Has there ever been a decent game based on a film that been released?
I dont think there is... Companies like THQ or in this case Acitivision rush the games so they can be released along side (or usually before) the release of the movie.
A game like Transformers could have been a fantastic game.

    he said good :p

Goldeneye was and still is the best movie based game and it will never be beaten as it was the creator of excellent console multiplayer shooters.

I liked it. Lots of explosions. Climbing up walls is entertaining. The controls are hard but you get used to them. The camera is annoying but heres a way to handle it.
*Go to game settings and put camera sensitivity on low.
*Keep you dominant still accept when aiming at things or turning.
    *Kepp finger on minus button.
