    Hi all,
    General concensus required:
    What's the easiest scale model airplane (glowfuel) to fly? The Piper Cub appeals, as does the beautiful P61, a Tiger Moth or Sopwith Camel would be dream material. I'm relatively new to flying although I can take-off, fly and land no problem on a select few planes (well landing is good most of the time). Any advice gratefully accepted, even if it's only to submit your personal favourite!

    Hello there,

    As your first scale model / warbird, for me, the best way to start in this category is to have a look at the Air-Loisirs range of warbirds...
    Scale look, but fly like a trainer !

    I have tested several of those in my club, and each time, no surprise, fly great ! And you have choices : P51, Zero, Hurricane, P40 etc etc...

    Well, that will be my choice for someone just out of the trainer...

    For the piper cub, it's not because it'a a high wing plane that is easier to fly properly :rolleyes: , but that's another story...

    Oh now they are beautiful!!! I've tried to Google "Air-Loisirs", but not getting much, who stocks these planes in Ireland?

    Not sure about Ireland but Model Maniacs has them .....

    Forgot, you also have a Mustang here

    For the Air Loisirs planes, I don't know how much 116£ is in euros, but you can generally find them for 160 euros...
