I probably should have started this yesterday as the Colin Lyons v Young Muttley British and European Light-Welterweight title fight was on but anyway it's too late for that .

    ITV4 tonight at 19:45
    Souleymane M'baye(champion) v Gavin Rees-WBA Light-Welterweight title.........****ing mismatch Rees gets destroyed within 4 .
Alex Arthur v Koba Gogoladze-vacant WBO Super Featherweight titleGogoladze is quite classy but I think Arthur's pressure will be too much , Arthur by stoppage .

    ITV1:22:00
Enzo Maccarinelli v Wayne Braithwaite-WBO Cruiserweight title Enzo is starting to develop into a decent fighter and although Braithwaite is a former WBC champ with a good punch(Enzo is a bit vulnerable) I think Enzo will have too much . Enzo by Ko .

Then we've a 3 hour wait(you might aswell stay up) till:
    Sky Sports 1: 2am
Michael Katsidis v Czar Amonsot-WBO Lightweight title
Katsidis should blow the Filipino away but it should be fun while it lasts .

Oscar Larios v Jorge Linares-WBC Featherweight title
Should be a good fight and I fancy the experienced(and vastly underated) Larios to box his way to a clear decision .

    THE BIG ONE
BERNARD HOPKINS V WINKY WRIGHT-Light Heavyweight Championship of the World I expect this fight to be less tactical than many may expect and end up an absolute cracker . Wiky will try and pressure Hopkins , the big man will meet him head on . My prediction Hopkins TKO 10th , to big , too strong , too powerful .

Anyway whatever happens we've a good night of boxing ahead of us .

Arthur stopped Gogolagze in 10 having him down 3 times , Koba was winning the fight early on but Arthur wore him down by working the body and starting bashing him up till he was done .

Gavin Rees has made me look a right fool , his workrate was top class and he deserved his win . I was very disappointed with M'Baye , not the same fighter than beat Balbi or fought Harris . A Unanimous decision for Rees btw .

Maccarinelli won a decision over Braithwaite , flooring him int he 5th . Very wide decision and Enzo fought quite well over a slightly faded Braithwaite .
