Is it easy for Postgraduate students to get lecturing posts in DCU?

    Does this ever happen?

Not sure what you mean by "post". If you mean doing some lecturing (as opposed to tutorials / lab supervision) then yes, in some schools it is not unusual to see 3rd year PhD students teaching a ‘light weight’ module. This is usually in conjunction with their supervisor. Personally, I would encourage this, as it’s a good route into lecturing.
But, if you mean a full time tenure post (lecturing position) after getting their PhD, then yes it happens regularly, but with all jobs, it is open public competition.

    What about MA students?

Just lecturing part-time during the year.
