'Hawww' is best for cleaning a lense....it's when you breath on the lense and your breath amkes that 'hawww' sound :) Seriosuly, it works well with a handkerchief or a cloth from a glasses case.

You sure it's the lens that's dusty? Dust could be on the mirror if its a 35mm SLR.

Microfibre cloth and fresh breath, pure water or distilled water.
NEVER use any cleaning liquid (fairy) or in the worst case any alcohol.

i use one of those little cloths that come with reading glasses and put a drop of lens cleaning fluid directly on the cloth. does the job!

I use the huuuuge micrfibre cloth for washing windows. And cloth for my glasses too.
The "Lense Cleaning Liquid" is distilled water. But it is in a bottle to make it more expensive :-P

I've found the 'Haaawwwww' and the end of my T-Shirt to be quite good.

Idealy you'll want some netrual, soft water to put on the least abrasive cloth you can find, something like they use for eye augments (glasses)
