Are Setanta Channels Matched To One Digibox?

    Another question re Setanta on Sky. Does anyone know if the Setanta channels are matched to the individual digibox like Sky SPorts is??

    If not it means I could take the card to my other digibox when watching something on Setanta and leave the main telly to others watching RTE and other fta channels.

    If they are matched I may have to get multiroom sub as with Setanta and Sky there will be just too much to watch and taping wud be a waste as u wud never get to watch them!! such problems!

    To the card afaik stupid tbh multiroom for setanta is a double subbie.

    So does that mean I can bring the viewing card to any digibox and watch the Setanta channels?

    Probably not. Premium channels are usually paired.

    The card with setanta loaded on it will work in another box..not sure about PPV games but the other channels will work.

    You can however bring your digibox and just connect it up , should only take a minute (don't plug in the phone line)......

    thanks,actually I just tried it during a period of Setanta sports 1 being in the clear and it worked ok which will be handy...
