Is this tournament open to anyone?

    Is it a regular tournament?

Self deal until the final table?

Where does the €840 reg go if there is only one dealer?

This tournament has nothing to do with me, but why do you ask this question?

I ask because if I as a player pay €15 Reg. I expect at least a dealer on my table. And I think its outregeous that if the players pay €840 Reg. they get only 1 dealer for the final table. Where does the other €700 Reg. Go?

    Thats why I ask.

Ok, so dont play! I think €15 would be a little steep myself if they got 56 players on a regular basis, but I think this is a new tourney and the numbers might be small.

AS HALF A PLAYER AND ORGANISER:D :D , :D I Know the lads and will support them if i can get free , They have stated what it is being taken and this is there first attempt outside there local game ... They will have they Following costs by my own experience in wexford

    Room Hire €200 approx
    Food €200 approx
Advertising € 100 approx(i have seen posters up in wexford/enniscorthy)
1 dealer €100 approx if there is only 1 dealer
    Organisers €200

Thats €800 without even doin much and maybe only gettin €100 for all the work each , i find this fair

Dont forget that all the Equipment that u play on has to be paid for by the organisers and i have no problem paying a Reg fee with a decent structure once they have stated it ..

Victor and Marty ... Best of Luck with this and if i am not too hungover tm ill make it up ok with a few

we've played together weekly as a group in a local 'pub' on x2 pub tables with table cloths and cheap cards/chips and a mechanical egg timer as a clock:mad: ....and we've had success at Big slick team events,:D 2x final table placings at the Big slick €500 main event:D :D and a 10th place finish at the recent Cork Macau classic:D ....so we pooled some money together to run our own 'proper event'...
X 7 poker tables, chips, fournier cards, stationery, poker clock software, Laptop, poster printing, room hire at the town's top venue...fcuk me nearly
€3000 ! and that's without all the other add ons....and no cards are dealt...
    Ah it's only money......
and yes, it's our first 'proper' venture.....and we're hoping for 30 runners but we're gonna provide a great game....but we'll gauge numbers for future...
and thanks for your comments BSP Neill K !

This went well with 28 entrants giving positive feedback and they also had the benefit of a rake free cash table.............
all looking forward to the next one.
