and no i doubt you'd need the current expansion to play the forthcoming one!But you will need age of empires 3 to play it though i'd say =D,ON gamefaqs.com though it only gives an american release date,well not such a release date just says quater 4,no european release date

I love the Age Of Empires series. Have been giving AOE 2 another whirl all week.


I got a bit bored with the Warchiefs expansion for AOE3 though.

ya its great,in the skirmish mode you can have 10,20,30,40 minute treatys where no one is allowed attack anyone,which I think is kinda cool,and theres a king of the hill mode as well as your regular death match,i've only played the skirmish mode have'nt started the campaign yet so I cant comment on it,and i've only played as china,but its gotten got good reviews......so ya what are waiting for?go out and buy it now :cool::D;):)

I picked it up on Sunday Evening in Gamestop. Really enjoying it, some nice new touches to it.

€29.99 in Gamestop in Limerick. The Game near McDonalds in Cork is always dear. (just saw Cork under your name so am guessing you got it there) The HMV up the road from it is normally cheaper for pc games, but the Virgin Megastore beside Argos is just as dear as Game.

Not finished the campaign yet, I am only at the part where the younger samurai has found out the truth and the older one will not be with him for anymore of the campaign.


You should keep an eye on Gamestop in Merchants Quay for prices, normally much better there than in Game.
