Pretty much as the title says I'm looking for somewhere in Dublin to do E6 processing of 120/220 film. Ideally I'd like it if they offered a reasonably priced process/scan deal.

    Does anyone know of anywhere?

    Peter.

The only place that I know of is the camera centre on abbey steet (right beside the luas stop). They certainly do 35mm , I'd say they do 120 aswell. Mondays, wednesdays and fridays, if you drop the film in at 9:00 they'll have it ready for 4:30 that day. The fair ould few rolls of transparency I've put in have turned out great, no scratches fingerprints or marks of any kind so I'd recommend them. Now if only I could find some place that wouldn't consistently screw up rolls of print film I'd be a happy man ...

-edit- forgot to mention, 6.50 dev only for 35mm. -edit-

it's €6.50 for dev of MF E6 too; they'll cut it to strips too. don't know about scanning.

    have you tried gunns?

no, never have actually. I was convinced that my cameras were scratching my film for ages until I got all those rolls of slide developed in the camera centre. They came back without a mark on them. I presume whoever does them hand loads them onto reels or something for development, one of those rotary jobs. I've had C-41 developed practically every single place in the city centre and all of them have come back marked to some degree. You really notice it when you're scanning, my coolscan picks up every imperfection. ICE is a blessing ...

The last two rolls of Velvia I got developed took 10 weeks , ( dont think they actually took that long ...look at the notes on the pack in the picture ) , getting film done these days is a specialist thing if its anything other than 35 mm negative or C-41 ,

E6 ... well mine went into a black hole for two months , note the service discontinued thing , sad really , its my favourite film ,
In the end , they gave me the mounts for free , I really thought theyd been messed up or lost and never expected to see em again.

Gunns might be your best bet for E6.

good lord ! Are the camera centre on grafton street actually affiliated with the one on abbey street ? As I said above, I've never had any problems with the abbey street one, thats pretty worrying though ...

no, the camera centre and the fuji centre on abbey street are *not* affiliated.
have never had an issue with gunns - though they don't do E6 in house; they'll take it in, but send it out for processing.

i drop my b&w and C41 into gunns, E6 into abbey street.

i think they still do - have a vague memory of cathy gunn telling me they do 5x4 E6.

don't know if they still are but they were kodak accredited... fantastic quality processing. Wouldn't send transparency film out of the country when these guys are on merrion square! Does anyone else think the decline of analog is a sad state of affairs?

    Repro35 still do E6.
