Bus from Sligo to Galway

I have an interview in sligo at 11am monday but I also have an apptitude test in sligo for 3pm, there is a bus from sligo to galway at 12pm.This is cutting it very tight so I was wondering if theres any other services available between 12 and 1

I take it the aptitude test's in Galway, rather? According to buseireann.ie, the 12pm bus takes about 5 hours as it goes via Ballina!!! There's one at 11:15, if there was any chance of having the interview pushed earlier?

Other suggestions, I don't know what the 88 or so miles would cost in a taxi....

It's great getting around this country without a car.....

The Letterkenny/Derry services to Galway would also pass through Sligo!
