    Stealing the catchy London thread title :D - going to NY last week of Aug and thinking of taking in a show, got the nipper with so a family affair is in order - any suggestions. Been looking on Broadway.com but no recommendation there plus its doesnt seem easy to find out whats on for a particular date... anyway recommendations please

    Lion King is probably most family friendly. Tarzan also but that hasn't got the best reviews. If child is over 8 then Mary Poppins would be good but it's a little bit dark so not for the very young, ditto Wicked.

    For a little bit of educational fun there's the Puttnam County Spelling Bee.

    Check out www.broadwaybox.com for pre-bookable discounted tickets for many shows. I always use it and more often than not end up beside people with full price tickets.
