for the price in my opinion you can't really beat this if you are just looking for a black and white printer

now shipping is an extra €13.50 but if you have any other bits and pieces to buy it would work out better value.

I have a Canon Pixma and I think the world of it. I can print b/w, colour, it prints photos. It came with a 1 year warrenty and I've had it for about two without any problems at all.

It is cheap to run....I found a website via another thread on boards (www.7dayshop.com) that sells ink cartridges for about 70p each. While you're waiting for that order to come, you could buy replacement cartridges in the specialty ink shops for 5-8euro. I think the Canon brand cartridges go for about 15 - 20!!

I saw them selling these printers off in easons in the stationery section recently. My model is, let's say a Pixma 1300 (can't remember!), and they were selling the Pixma 1600 series for about 79 quid. I paid 140 for mine, so that was a superb deal. I can't find the deal online, but if you ring around some of the big eason shops in Dublin you could double check if they still have them.
