Question for Microcube owners...

How well does the line/rec out line work? For example, how does it sound if it's run directly into a PA? I'm thinking of getting one of these for practice, but I'm intrigued by the possibility of using it for small gigs (playing some laid-back blues in a small pub, not rock'n'roll!) It might save me carrying some bigger gear. Has anyone here tried this? Thanks.

I love my Cube, and I've often thought of using it at jams/gigs with the line out, the sound is amazing off it! Next time I'm jamming I'll see what it sounds like through the PA!

    :D

I imagine it's very good through a PA. I've used it for recordings and it sounds much bigger then it is. I imagine it could be a winner alright.

The quality of the COSM amp and effects models in the Microcube is pretty low in the grand scheme of things. It sounds great for a quick and handy little practice amp, but for live use into a PA you'd be much, much better off buying a low or mid end floor pedal tbh. Like one of the Line6 floorpods or something. The amp, cab & effects modelling would be infinitely better and you'd have the benefit of preset switching.
