I haven't tried any software yet, but the websites work just as fine with Vista.

their software must be uniquely bizarre.

    Cheers emmemm

I've been running pokerstars on it today and there has been no problems. OS look like it's in good enough shape now, and it has some nice new features. If PS and GT+ work I might just jump over permantly.

Would be interesting to see if anyone has had any problems with it.

been using it since it came out.i had a nightmare with the install and recommend a clean install rather than an upgrade.u can buy the upgrade pack (cheaper) but u have to run the install twice.
poker sites worked fine but pahud caused problems for awhile which can be fixed by reseting filters.
wireless network / internet dosnt work after reboot sometimes.Fix is disconnect -reconnect.
tbh there is no reason i can think of to change from XP except DX10 if you are a gamer.

I have had Vista on my PC for a while, and after much effort managed to get PAHUD working for Full Tilt, so it is possible. I got so browned off with it that I completely wiped my PC and am now back running XP Pro.

I have just bought a new Vista laptop from Dell and this weekend it will be getting XP Pro onto it aswell. I see no benifits in having Vista at the moment it is slow and annoying ( I have only tried the Basic and Home Premium versions, I have a copy of Ultimate but am not going to even bother trying it ).

    my 2 cents.

I'm running the Ultimate version on a 4 year old machine with 1 gig of ram and it's running like a dream, I was working in MS earlier this year doing some testing on it, and I didn't much like it, but I'm having a change of heart now. You can have your machine dual booting, so if you install XP/Vista on a second primary partition you can switch back real quickly to XP if Vista is pissing you off.

Vista has been fine for most things so far, only issues are in PAHUD you can't have auto flickering or the buttons don't work, just run everything as administrator and you will be fine.
The one issue I have had is running PAHUD and full tilt but I have heard that is a full tilt issue above anything else but not 100% sure, could be a number of things such as my connection etc
