now my memory is a little fuzzy. i think it was an Irish show (in as Gaeilge or some other language) but i seem to remeber a show that was on Net2 (or the the Den TV, whatever) the intro was a short CGI video clip of a green dinosaur (with blue spots) walking along, then gets frozen in a block of Ice then time rolls by a forest grow around it, the ice melts and it lives in the forest.

Then the actual show itself was in real life action with a puppet dinosaur and for some reason i think i remeber a talking tree somewhere in thbackground that told stories and it always had a male and female presenter

please does anyone else remeber this?
whats the hell was it called???

Been going long enough to not exist anymore :P

OP, unfortunately I don't really have anything to offer, but what you're describing certainly sounds familar/rings a bell, so you didn't imagine it at least :)

I remember that show, the Dinosaur ws called Janeen (Janín?) and I'm fairly sure that's what the programme was called too.

Dinín is ainm di, agus bhí Boulí freisin, an fear sneachta. And another programme about babies that was around that time aswell. TG4 ROCKS.

    that's what I thought.

either that or The Morbegs, but they're more genetic abominations than dinosaurs

Yea, you could be thinkin of the Morbegs. They'd bring in primary school kids from Gaelscoils and read them stories in a treehouse den thing. They were called Molly n Rossa.

But the name Dinín an Dinosar sounds very familiar,. Can't picture it though :(
