I was looking at their website and called them to see exactly what they do. They will "service" your car, which consists of an oil, oil filter and air filter replacement and lights & levels check. As far as I understood from talking to them, they will change a bulb if it is blown or windscreen wipers if they need replacement. If they find that you need a component such as an exhaust, brake pads, shock absorbers, or any other component that might need be nearing end of life, they can only advise you of this. They cannot actually carry out maintenance, other than the scheduled maintenance items that I've mentioned above. They seem to be busy though, so they are obviously doing something right!

So nothing you couldn't do yourself with a trip to halfords and a free hour. Useful for people with no spare time/phobia of opening the bonnet I suppose.

I thinks its a good idea, and looks like its well set up too !

I prefer the fact that you can talk to the guy doing your car rather than a receptionist who gives you the standard blurb and doesn't know there own backside from a hole in the ground !!

It'll cath on ...........no doubt about it, few folk have any confidence in main dealers nowdays !

Make sure they use oem parts for your service! You hear horror stories of white box parts from china being used.
Also make sure if its A VW from 05 onwards they need long life oil (€50 5ltr) as there is a sensor that monitors the engine oil.
