Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi Guys,

I left Ireland in early July and finished up working at the end of June. I will be leaving and paying tax in the USA for the next few years. How do I go about claiming back my paye for this year.
I also spent about 35 days out of the country earlier in the year on business. Am I entitled to a full paye refund (as I spent less than half the year in Ireland) or will it be a partial refund based on my tax credits to the end of the year.
    Any help would be appreciated

    Thanks

It's my understanding if you were a resident and ordinarily resident up to this year you'll be able to get the benefit of your current year tax credits only.

If you tell the revenue you are leaving the country you'll get a tax rebate. You're still entitled to full year tax credits.

*above advice open to correction* ;)
