Emergency passport

    Right im going on hols on saturday and like a fool I've lost my passport.Does anyone know what you need to bring to the passport office with you to get an emergency passport that lasts 2 weeks?

    If you bring details of your flights and ask really nicely they may give you a full one in time

    Thanks very much for the quick reply I take it I still need to have photos signed by a garda and maybe my birth cert aswell.Do you think theres anything else?

    Bring money. They charge an extra fee, something like €70 extra, for a rush passport.

    I think you'll have to report the original one as 'lost' and apply for a new one.

    You will have to pay the fee for the new passport (75 euro for a standard passport) and the fee for next day service which is 50 euro. They will want proof of your flight etc.
