    Here's an interesting one.....

Monaghan willing to accept jersey punishment
Monaghan are ready to accept any punishment that comes their way following their decision to wear their usual white strip in last Sunday’s Ulster SFC Final after it had been arranged for the Farney men to wear all blue.

    Any ideas on the punishment....

I think they should be forced to wear pink jerseys and shorts and pair of wings and instead of being called the "Farney Men" it could be the "Fairy Men"

    That would show em....

Thats a good one. Realistically it should just be a small fine, they lost anyway and there was no confusion.

I imagine the deal was that both teams had to wear their changed strip. Monaghan probably saw their white strip as lucky though. I'd say any fine will be small enough.

That said, the Cavan GAA team were fined a grand or so two years ago for two of them not having their jerseys tucked in and socks rolled up during the National anthem. Seemed a tad extreme.

According to the report it's gonna be a heavy fine thats imposed by the ulster council. A bit harsh would you agree? God if they knew that they would have ran to the nearest hardware store to buy blue paint to cover up the white strip.
