I only play when its big, and due to a misunderstanding of the costs I accidentally bought 12 euro worth when I thought i was buying 4 euro.

The girl upon hearing this asked if I only wanted 4 euro, **** it I think, sure you always hear the winners saying they won by a fluke of luck, the person infront not having the right change that kinda ****e

I better win or theres an additional 8 euro down the hole.

Theres a shop (Lotto) in the shadow of the shrine in Knock Co Mayo. If I cant win it in such a holy place Theres no hope. So I am off to Knock on the train on friday. Dont call me mad cos I already know. Anyway back to work with you, I have a train to catch.

Nobody won. I decided 8.8mill wasn't going to be enough for everything I had planned so I let it roll over for another week. Roll on Saturday!!!

PS The sad thing is, I'm a statistician.....so should know a hell of a lot better!

I stopped doing it as the organisers just keep making the odds longer and longer with no real return. Its meant to be a trade off of course between winnings and the raising of money. For "good" causes.

I work in a shop that does the lotto. I love it when someone comes in thats spent a 16 euro ticket, wins a fiver back and acts like theyve won the whole thing. Idiots

I made an absolute fool of myself in the shop yesterday. I played 4 rows of the lotto so i ticked the box with '4 draws' on it at the top. it cost 24 euro, cos that '4 draw' box means its for 4 weeks of the lotto...!:o

ah well at least im in it now for the 10million!:p
