Ginger makes me sick

Does anyone else hate ginger? I must confess it turns my stomach and
makes me feel ill. Out of all the herbs and spices I've ever used I find ginger
rather 'fiery' and it causes serious indigestion. It's often used in oriental
cuisine which is a pity as I like this type of food but the addition of this
one spice turns me right off a lot of Thai dishes.

thats a bit weird as ginger is a traditional medicine for sea sickness, because its really good at settling the stomach.

Ginger kids on the other hand have caused the odd bout of nausea.

c'mon, they're just an urban myth.

I think the chances of a root(ish) thing wandering about ireland highly unlikely.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, I've no problem with normal gingers. It's the super mutant transparent-skinned, freckly, ghoulish roots that freak me right the fúck out!!

I hear *turns on torch and shines it on face* that they come up through your toilet late at night and bite you on the wrist while you sleep. They slowly suck the soul out of your wound and then hastily return back down the toilet where they lurk around the sewers waiting for their next victim to go to sleep. They have an insatiable appetite for souls. *shudders* You wake up the next morning feeling empty inside and begin to notice freckles all of your body, which also is a slight bit paler. This is the first stage of 4 and if you don't cure it by then you too soon squibble down the toilet and join the evergrowing army of the unRed in the sewers.

I thought the OP was talking about the user on here called Ginger! I was wondering what he could have done to make you feel sick hehe!

If ginger makes you feel sick, try nutmeg to settle your stomach afterwards ;)

FINALLY - i'm not alone in my hatred of it! It seems to be in EVERYTHING. Makes me sick too. Even if there's just a trace of it in some thing. I hate the way people say but there's only a tiny bit like that's supposed to make the dish bearable.
