Don't want to go Ebay as I got stung and realised after a day or two I got a fake one....Rats!!

They all seem to be around the 60 euro mark online. Heres some links:

    Expansys 4GB E65
    Elara 4 GB E66
    Play 4GB E57

Not sure if Play ship to Ireland though.

Surely you can go back to the seller and look for your money back, if not go to Paypal and complain again looking for a refund?

I got a fake 2gb off ebay a few years ago and it's still working fine.

How would one know if a Sony memory stick bought on Ebay is a fake or not?

Just compare it to an offical sony one and you should be able to notice differences in the build quality. Also many fakes dont come in the retail packaging.

Yeah the one I got (4gig) is fine also, but its not doing what a real one should do.

Btw....Which is better, the normal Sony duo or a Sandisk? Is there really a big difference.

Seen on Dabs.ie a SanDisk Ultra II 4GB Memory Stick Pro Duo for €59+5 euro delivery.....I suppose this would be much better and faster than a normal Sony duo.
