I'm experiencing a problem where it seems the Zen Micro is too outdated to work on WMP. It's not mine don't worry, I have a vision M which I find quite reliable. It's for a friend. Tried getting the micro software online but that didnt work either

That happened with my old iRiver h10, i upgraded to WMP11, and it wouldn't work...

Is that what happened? Have you tried rolling back to WMP10?

Really don't want to have to roll it back though.. Is there no other way? It doesn't even seem like my PC is acknowledging its connected

You could try media monkey, that seems to work for any player...It's quite the good media player too... (linkage)

Oh? It's supposed to so possibly there's a problem with the player itself? Does windows recognise it at all?

It does but it wont install it. Maybe if I had a WMDM plug in? Cant find where to download one though

Sorry buddy, I'm stumped... It's always worked for me straight away... Sounds like you may need to call in reinforcements...

Tried downloading firmware, cant get my device recognised though so it wont load on =/
