    Out of curiosity:

is there a garage with a ramp/pit in dublin that can be rented for a evening/weekend or whatever?

The reason I ask is there are so many classic cars in the Dublin area, but how many are in clubs with a garage, surely someone has come to an agreement with a mechanic? I've needed one in the past, at the moment I don't need one, but would be nice to know. Where do you guys do your heavy work?

Good question. Personally, I'm lucky and have a corner of a garage to work in. In the US, there are garages where diy mechanics can rent space. I presume it can't work over here because of insurance costs or whatever. <edit> eg: http://bayareamotorclub.com/ </edit>
