    Hi,

I use utorrent but have found that it will not work on BT 3Mb broadband. It starts out ok but then fades off to zero kbs after about 20 minutes. someone suggested BT may be using Traffic shaping to throttle the download. Anyone aware of this? Any work arounds?

    Thanks

It might help if you enable "encryption" in speed guide, but there is definitely some form of traffic shaping being implemented.

Yeah he suggested that - im going to try it tonight. But he said he is getting 300kbs on his and the most I can get on mine is about 20kbs even tho I am on 3mb broadband. So BT must be throttling the traffic.

I use Azureus never had a problem.

    BT 3Mb product also.

Try reducing your upload speed to 20KB
