Stolen Gear

I don't know if there's a specific thread for this but maybe there should be if there isn't.

Anyway, I just had a D-tar Solstice 2 channel pre-amp stolen in Rathmines today from my car. It's pretty specific to acoustic instruments and as far as I know it's the only one in the country. You can't get them here very easily and I haven't seen anyone else with one. I hope the bast*rd that stole it got hit by a car shortly afterwards. I think I'd cry if any of my good gear got stolen. You get attached to your gear don't you?

House insurance thing might be a good idea. Some guys got arrested breaking into a house nextdoor later on but I'm still waiting to hear back if they had anything on them. I'm hoping it's the same guys that took my stuff. What are the chances....
