Looks great, only problem is how do i get the wife and kids off the wii if I get this too.
Looks like it will be retailing in the states for $69.99 with the balnce board, so probably 70 to 80 euros here.

Why go on a treadmill in a gym when there's plenty of paths outside to run on? Thing is that people, even those people who do exercise, are inherently lazy and would prefer not to have to make the effort of being outside, avoiding people, and having to walk back from wherever they stop. If this gets people who are too lazy to otherwise exercise, then it's a great thing! The Wii already has a lot of people up and moving a lot more that they would otherwise - there are those who would happily sit on the couch day in, day out, controller in hand, but at least now they're standing up, swiping at things and generally moving a lot more.

Great vid, but Im quietly confident Wii fit will be a success.

When I first saw the vid on E3, I thought this is the biggest load of s**t and that Nintendo's success had gone to their heads.

Upon watching it to the end, I started to think that it was pretty cool and that there are some real world applications for it.

Think of it this way. Everything controversial Nintendo (more or less) has been a success. ie Wii, DS.

Everything they did that the Jones' did, i.e. GC vs Ps2, XBox, it lost out miserably.

I think this sort of thinking outside the box innovation is what the industry needs and I hope Nintendo pull this off.:p
