Hey so i have been a normal sky customer for years with an average sky box and i was wondering if i buy a sky+ off someone then will my monthly charge be less? We subscribe to everything except movies and films. Are there any perks to this?

EDIT: Is there any downside/upside to getting the box from the UK

If you change your box from Skybox to Sky+ your monthly charges won't change.

No downside/upside to buying the box from the UK, they use same boxes as here. That said the Amstrad boxes are rare over this side of the water, thankfully.

Amstrad? Would these be better or worse then?
The ones I saw were Pace.

Whats the story with the €15 a month I hear so much about?

this charge stopped at the start of july. there is now no charge for sky+, as long as you are a sky subscriber.
