    Ok so we all hate the monsoon summer that we seem to have going on at the mo, and we as Irish people are bred to discuss aka (moan, bitch and curse) about the weather at every given opportunity. So I believe that for once we should actually try to be positive about it (even if you are just taking the mickey) and tell everyone what there is to enjoy about this weather.

    OK heres my list for starters;
    1. Cute wellies
    2. Colourful Umbrellas
    3. songs that the radio play ( ie umberella, always take the weather with you, why does it always rain on me..etc!)

    Enjoy! :rolleyes:
    GG

    Smalltalk complaining about the weather when you meet $rand in a lift in work.

    I just generally like the rain. Me and the sun never got along, so I just grin when I hear people moaning about the summer.
    This summer is perfect by my standards, (albeit still a bit too hot, but best not say that too loud).

    Thanks OP, now I'm going to be singing that "umbrella" song all afternoon. :)

    Damn it! I need to be more original :(.

    I second the staying inside part and looking out your window watching people get absolutely drenched. Also, driving in the rain.

    I thought I'd be sick of seeing rain but since I'm living away from my hometown where all my mates are I have litteraly nothing to do during the weekdays. I wouldn't be a happy camper if it was torching outside, though I'd probably buy some beer and sit out my flat window blaring some Thin Lizzy, yeerr!!!

    UMBRELLAS ARE THE DEBIL!!!

    i kinda enjoy the rain so long as im not wearing a too-tight tshirt, and i dont have to be left in a damp tshirt for too long afterwards. (ie, leave work and feel great, practically dancing in the rain, but when you get on the DART youre stuck in nasty wet clothes).
