You know when recruitment companies say "Sales Job", why the hell don't they tell you what you're supposed to be selling? I mean, is it Tampons, or Telephones? How are you supposed to know if you're interested in it?

Most recruitment compamies will post spurios jobs just to attract CVs especially for sales

If the add says something specific like telecoms or FMCG it may be genuine.

Some recruiters have a remit just to look for sales staff for their clients constantly if they have a high turnover of staff

ned generally this is done to stop you from easily being able to identify who the client company is for 2 reasons 1) so you dont go straight to them and 2) so as not to alert other recruitment companies to it.....

Understood, but they could at least tell you roughly what you're selling, if it's food, or toilet cleaners, or cars, or advertising.
