Obviously you'd want to mail them and find out if theres anything wrong with it, but there's an interesting Edwards LP on ishi. Not my type, but someone might like it..

    3165022031.jpg

Its priced at 23,000 yen, and if you believe this spec sheet, list price is supposed to be 95,000 yen.

A Japanese Edwards LP with 24 frets, no fret markers, an original Floyd Rose and nice white binding, for e150 + (shipping & customs).....seems pretty cheap

EDIT - Youd want to research the model to see if im right about it being cheap. Seen a few on ebay for varying prices.

Ah tis long gone man, I see the picture link doesnt work either.

That was yesterday, you've got to jump on hot bargains quicker than that ;)

Can't tell you the number of Ishibashi deals i've missed and i've sent the e-mail within half an hour or so of them updating their site :(

They take too long to respond too. I saw a really nice edwards les paul that just went up there yesterday. Would have came to just over €400 delivered. Sent off an email saying I'd take it but it was gone this morning when I checked. Still no reply from ishi. Very very dissapointed with their customer service. Making me think twice about placing an order with them at all. It shouldnt take over a week to find out if a guitar is in stock. Still no idea if it is or not

Yeah, I said that in another thread. I've had a lot of dealings with them over the last couple of years, and i've noticed they're a little slow lately.

There's a couple of things to note:

    1) You can't go on to any guitar forum without hearing a mention of them. They have an lot more business lately (one of their guys told me as much) and they can have trouble keeping up sometimes

    2) Because of the time difference between them and most of their customers, all their e-mail correspondance takes a day.

For example - you spot a guitar and email about it. Somebody else beats you to it. So they reply to him first, telling him the full price and how to send through his credit card. They don't want to tell you it's sold yet in case the guy changes his mind, so you're left waiting another day for the guy to reply to them. Etc....

The fact that they allow people to hold guitars also f*cks this up - lots of time-wasting window shoppers out there.

    3) Theres been a big boom in Japanese ebay re-sellers. Most of these guys get their stuff off places like Ishi. So sometimes a guitar will be sold straight from the shop in the Japanese evening, and they don't have time to remove the pics until the next morning. By which time you've already seen it and e-mailed about it. Which can confuse them as they hunt for the guitar in your email.

Still a great shop though IMO.
