E34 BMW 520i Steering wheel adjustment

    Any other BMW 520i E34 model owners out there ?

    Just a quick query re the steering wheel adjustment as the ould manual is a bit sparse on instructions. It says to unlock the steering wheel clamp under the column which I have done but seem unable to move anything after that.

    Anyone done this and got further advice ?

    As far as I can remember the adjustment on these is just an in & out job no height change possible.

    Yep, you only have in and out adjustment. No tilt function on the E34.
