    Hey folks,
I'm flying over to London in a few weeks, going to the West End for a show. I'm going into Heathrow, which is on a tube station, and I'm wondering which Tube station is nearest the West End, so I don't go faffing about all over the city.
    Cheers,
    WP.

Depends on which theatre you are going to. Not all are in the West End. From Heathrow, best to get Piccadilly line straight to Piccadilly Circus or Leicester Square. The majority of theatre's are short walking distance from either. Checkout londontheatre.co.uk as they have good maps.

Depends where your going, when you're in the airport in London, pick up Time out magazine. They list all the theatres and the nearest tube stations to each

Most theatres will recommend which tube stop you should get off at for their theatre. Coming from Heathrow you will have to change at Earls Court usually but its never difficult getting around from there as everything is clearly marked. Just take your time while you're there to make sure you get on the right trains and maybe get yourself a tube map before to plan your route.

no need to change at earls court  , the only line that serves heathrow is the piccadilly line, he can come from heathrow straight into piccadilly circus and then walk or get a taxi

enjoy the trip, it is the most easy city to get round, love it
