Strange question, but does anyone know of a carwash with a wall or any platform that I can get up on to wash the top of my van? I have to bring it to get signs put on it today and it has to be washed before hand and with our recent weather, I don't want to run into a shower and have mucky water running down the sides after I wash it:)

I'll be in the Tallaght area.

How much are them jet wash thingies to use anyway? First time I've had a vehicle worthy of spending money on washing it... or worthy of a wash at all in fact:)

    Why not bring a ladder?

Why not bring it to an attended carwash; they do van rates, so it becomes their problem how they wash the roof.

go to a truck wash, and you won't have to lift a finger!

Ended up just going to a regular jet wash, €6 for 8 minutesI think it was. Ended up spending €18 and that's without doing the roof! How much are truck washes and where abouts are they?:)

There is (or at least there used to be) a truck wash on the Naas Road between Newlands Cross and the Mad Cow - on the inbound side.

How's the van looking now and how much did the signage cost to get done in the end?

Would the roller brushes on a regular car-wash not run along the roof?

There is a busy truck wash in Dublin Airport Business Park in Cloghran. It's off the old Swords Road - the entrance is opposite Kealy's pub. Take the first left after entering the estate and go to the end of that road. It's in a trailer rental place.

Edit: Here you are Crystal Clean Truckwash €10 for a large van.

€10 is pretty cheap alright:) Bit far to go though!

I should have the van back tomorrow afternoon, apparently it's looking really well so far:)
