Too late to get a summer job??

    Heyas,

Not long after doing my leaving cert. And with various events and work around the house, I've only started looking for a summer job this week. I'm living in the Drogheda area and while there's jobs, they seem to be rather scarce for students looking for a bit of work.

So am I wasting my time, and is there anything I can do to get around the late start problem??

Get jobs that people don't want. Pubs and clubs. Also, any sh|te boring jobs around? Apply for them.

The name of the game at this stage is no longer that you get an easy job for the summer: its to get cash for drink, and also to save enough so that you can get a tux and about €100 of drink at your debs.

    If only:)

I'm thinking of college. €3000k+ in accomodation, and even if I have to commute, there's lots of other things I need to look out for e.g the annual registration fee thing. I'm suprised that people don't want jobs in pubs and clubs, but it's heartening. Thanks!
