This might get a better response in DIY. I'll let Muffler make the call. :D

    What area are you in?

No probs if it needs to be moved.

Builder has come back with ridiculous quote so trying to source and manage some of the bigger stuff ourselves. We are out in Malahide.

    - External doors - totally depends on what finish?
    - Windows - as per doors
    - Internal Doors - Would recommend Carroll Joinery (AKA Dublin Door Store)
    - Tiles - Again depends on quality, do you want designer or just a normal tile
    - Wood Floors - Brooks always do a good quality range at decent prices

It is probably better off in DIY but we can leave the re-direct from here so it can be accessed from both fora

    Thanks Muffler.

Spec wise, I am easy enough on the external doors & windows. Either wood or Alu but preferably not PVC, double glazed of course. Internal doors ideally walnut & matching frame / architrave & skirting. Tiles, a mixture but probably main tile would be a large format travertine type tile.

Also looking to source floor to ceiling bifolding glass doors for the rear of the house which would fold back on each other to create the "outside inside" effect. Have seen a few UK suppliers but anyone closer to home?

    Cheers.

    S
