Courier to collect items in Uk and bring back to Ireland?

    Does anyone know of any Irish/Uk couriers who would collect stock (a few pallets in size) from the Uk (Wolverhampton) and deliver it to Ireland (Laois). Any help would be great!

    Yes, I also used Interlink twice recently. First time they collected a parcel somewhere in the UK and delviered it to my home here in Ireland - worked out at bit slower than they promised though. The second time they took my parcel from home to deliver to London and charged €3 less than it would have cost to post via the Post Office!!

    Had to get an item (34kg) from Hereford to Kerry....

    Tnt €311 2-3 day

    DHL €201 2-3 day

    Interlink €63 - next day!

    Cant beat that!

    Interlink are great for single items.

    You need a freight company - best service i've had over the years is countrywide freight 01-8430000. 3 day service from UK to Ireland about €100 - 120 per pallet - depends on weight etc etc.

    Also try Hales freight or ABX logistics.

    Anyone ever use any of these to buy furniture in the UK and ship it back. Some items I am interested in are far cheaper / more variety on ebay.co.uk then ebay.ie
