Bay Window roof construction

Hi, I am wondering about the actual sequence of work involved in the construction of the roof's over the bay window. The blocky's have finished , windows have yet to go in to the bays. In addition we are having stone so a lintel is required over the head of the window.
My window guy wont install the windows as there is nothing to fix into on top ( fair point).
My carpenter sayes that he needs the windows in to see what he needs to do to construct the roof.
And I need the lintel in for the stone - which will be stitting on stone pillers either side of the window, so will my stone mason be the first guy to start\??

    Any help appreciated

Now I know what they mean by cute cork 'hurers' : a 'blocky' that does not put in a lintel.
not to mention a chippy that needs the window in to see what he needs to support his roof: are there no drawings?
The lintel has to go in first
post a pic if can and we will have peep.

bay window you probably need a steel lintel which will have to be made for your dimensions. Try keystone or steelite. Heiton Buckleys can arrange for you.

The lintel goes in by the blocklayer when he gets to that level. He then has to install bricks/stonework into the lintel so without the lintel he isnt finished anyway.

When the lintel is in and finishes the carpenter can start straight away and the window man can measure and install his windows.
