Screen/Grapic Problem

    Not really sure what this is, but recently, the past week or so, everytime I open up a game to play it, my screen just goes "to sleep" after a minute or two into the game, but everything else is still going in the background. I have to turn my PC off and back on again to get the screen to come on again.

    Any idea what could be causing this? I've tried everything : /

    Well its unlikely to be this but check to make sure that;
    * screen saver is turned off
    * power options for monitor to turn off is disabled.

    If you have a friend with a PC try and test it with theirs to see if the problem persists if it did then you know it's the display.

    Or do a clean install of Windows to see if it software related if the problem happens again then it may be related to your graphics card.

    Sounds to me what 8T8 said, possibly a monitor power option within Power Options. Again, possibly so give it a whirl.

    Yeah i've tried both of these already, ive googled it for hours also and havnt found a solution, not sure what to do really at this stage. thanks
