I dont know what planet your friend is from but he must be seriously new to bikes not to know ANY bike insurers.

    Try these:

Carole Nash - a broker with a couple of underwriters
    Aon
    Quinn Direct

Good luck to your friend. If he is new to bikes, he will need a big wallet.

He's from earth strangely enough. He got a bike just to get to and from work mostly and Yeah, he would be new to bikes. thanks for the swift but mostly indignant sounding reply.

moutain lips.............. I think superscouse is being incredulous at someone owning a vehicle first and then looking for insurance...........it wouldn't happen in the car world.........

Dare I ask if your friend has a licence............[ducks for cover].........??

You don't want to acknowledge that as truth because, deep down in places you don't talk about at the Green Party, you want me on that road, you need me on that road. We use words like freedom, enjoyment, sport and community. We use these words as the backbone of a life spent instilling those values in our families and loved ones. You use them as a punch line. I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain myself to a man who rises and sleeps under the tax revenue and the very freedom to spend it that I provide, and then questions the manner in which I provide it. I would rather you just said "thank you" and went on your way. Otherwise I suggest you pick up a bus pass and get the ********* ********* off the road”

    incredulous.... damn wheres my dictionary
but seriously, chances are if he has a licence it will be a learner so aon will be the ones he'll be dealing with, they are on 1890777555 but be patient them as it takes a while for them to pick up the phone
And tell him to get lessons, aon do an assessment scheme where you can get discounts for how good you are and you dont have to wait 12 months for the test (well you do but you get the discount early)

Depends on one's age. I got my first insurance with CN on my first provisional ;)
