Hey, there's this new tv show called Cape Wrath starting on Channel 4. At least I think it's new and i think it's just starting! I think the second episode is on this week so does anyone know when the first one will be repeated again? I missed it!

It sounds like a program I would like!

I think it started two weeks ago on C4, that would make it the 3rd episode this week. Don't start watching it now if you've missed the first two episodes, try get a hold of them or see if they're repeated on E4. If you're two weeks behind though that might not be possible.

It's a strange show, very eerie. Kind of reminds me of Twin Peaks for the plain bizareness of everything and everyone in it.

Episode 2 is on this Tuesday on Channel 4 with episode 3 straight after on E4.

There are no repeats scheduled but it may be possible to download the first episode for free from the Channel 4 website.

I thought the first two episodes were great. Some friends in the States have been watching it, they're up to episode 5 there, and said it's well worth sticking with. One thing has been bugging me a bit though, anyone know why it's called Meadowlands in the US and Cape Wrath in the UK?

It's from the same chap who did Twin peeks and Mullhound Drive (can't spell it) so I'm expecting it to be weird and spooky!

Thanks, I'll try get hold of the first episode and start watching on Channel 4.

Actually David Lynch has nothing to do with the show.

The official show website has episodes available to view, although I haven't tried it so I'm not sure if it'll work here. Here's the link, hopefully it'll be of some use to you.

Couldn't stand it personally - thought it was dull and the acting shoddy

I felt the same and I really wanted to like it. I thought it was a show that would appeal to me. Dull, dulll, dull.

That was bugging me too. On the C4 website it says "Welcome to Cape Wrath... on the surface, a friendly community", but the community is called Meadowlands. Cape Wrath seems a bit of a stupid name really.
