Samsung lcd problem

Hey everyone, just wondering if anyone has had any problems with any LCD TVs like I'm having with mine. Intermittently the picture gets distorted whereby the picture goes pink. The entire image does not go pink but it's as if areas where the image has gradients or changes in colour are worst affected. It's obviously irritating and seriously affects viewing, it is independant of source so I've ruled that out and the TV is not placed near speakers or anything which could be causing interference. The TV is over a year old so I guess it's no longer under warranty. The model is Samsung LE40M61B, any suggestions or input appreciated

Well never seen something like that myself but to hazard a guess unless someone screwed with the colour balance or display settings in the TV then it sounds like the panel is defective.

You could make sure that the colour's are set to the default settings in the settings menus.
