    This 1Gb USB Key is £5.25 (plus £3.95 P&P) at 7dayshop. It comes with U3 software pre-installed, but don't let that put you off, it can easily be removed! :D With 7dayshop you can add extra items to your order and pay just one P&P charge. MX2 have a 1Gb USB key for £7.49 with free delivery.

    how do you remove the software?? have a similar one...drives me nuts!

    For all other drives (including the above): http://www.u3.com/uninstall/
    The U3 software can only be uninstalled using a Windows XP or 2000 PC. Excerpt from the U3 knowledge Base:

    Uninstalling the U3 Launchpad

    Question
    How do I uninstall the U3 Launchpad from my smart drive?

    Answer
    The U3 Launchpad is only supported on Windows XP and Windows 2000 operating systems and this restriction extends to U3 Launchpad uninstallers. A U3 Launchpad uninstaller is a software module that removes the U3 Launchpad and re-configures the drive to be a single mass storage USB drive. U3 Launchpad uninstallers are only available for and must be run on Windows XP or Windows 2000 machines.

    Note: The Launchpad must be properly running in order to use the uninstallers.

    Argos also currently have a 1GB stick on sale for €15, a bit dearer, but handy if you don't want to wait for the delivery.

    There also super cheap USB sticks on Play right now. But I'm not posting a link because I'm not sure they deliver electronics/PC gear to Ireland anymore. Does anyone know the actual position re. USB drives from Play?

    all electronics can only be delivered to UK addresses only.
