Identify another shrub/tree

    Can anyone identify this shrub/garden bush/tree ?

I've attached a photo (taken with a cameraphone). The most distinct features are the cluster of small white flowers which appeared since June (if I recall correctly) and the serrated leaves.
    I'm assuming its a non-native shrub/bush introduced into Ireland.
I've seen examples of it in other places with slightly lighter coloured leaves.

I've scoured garden plant books but this one seems to elude me.

It looks to me to be Olearia Macrodonta (New Zealand Holly).

If you are online tomorrow I'm going to take a photo (weather permitting)
of some leaves on tall screening trees which I spotted near a garage
stop near Knock airport which may be possibly a Black poplar or downy
birch. Tall elegant trees. I'll take the camera out tomorrow.

You deserve a virtual beer for IDing that NZ holly bush !

Here is a photo of the foliage on the other tree I am trying to ID
(I've a separate photo which I can upload of the actual profile of the
trees themselves) Apologies for the poor quality of image / poorly
    exposed with a cameraphone.

Seems to be a poplar alright, difficult to tell whether it's a Black Poplar (populus Nigra) or the Italian Black Poplar hybrid?

These trees shouldn't be planted within an asses roar of any buildings!:D

    Hi Sonnen,

I've attached a photo taken of the trees in the distance - may help in identifying the exact type....
My shortlist was black/italian poplar *or* a downy birch tree.

    (downy birch birch
    or
    Italian poplarpoplar
