This is a topic I've read in detail today after experiences with trying to match the colour of what I took against what adobe camera raw was telling me it was

After trying to get a good colour match in ACR, I gave up and downloaded a trial version of Capture NX. Below are two examples of the same image. No major processing has been done except for unsharp mask on both images. As you can see there is a huge difference between the two.

    Adobe Camera Raw 4.1

    Nikon Capture NX

Does anyone else have their ACR settings calibrated in CS3 or CS2? Some more information on camera calibration can be found here
