Most sorting offices are open on a Saturday. I know you can go in a pick up a parcel/package that was delivered to your address when you were out, but not sure if you can get something that you posted. I'd give them a call and explain the situation

You will have very little chance of reclaiming the package unless you have proof that it was you that posted it.

It got the boat at 5am this morning, i got stung! i sold a fella a phone on ebay & he created a very good lookalike email account and he clamed he was paypal.... claiming that i had new funds in my account. (if yoy are familur with selling on ebay) you know you got the option to send an invice to tell the Buyer how much to pay... when i recieved this bogus email it claimed that i had to submit the track & trace number To protect the buyer & sellers of the ebay community.. when i submited the requested tracking id my account would be credited within in minutes.. This never happened - I emailed the buyer and guess what no replys, so i looked up his profile on my ebay buyers & sellers list and on his home phone number.. When i rang a Realy pissed off women ansered and she said her husbands account was hacked into.. the scammer had bought loads of stuff on his account and had them redirected to a different address without them known. the delivery address that my phone is going to is a Nursing home under the name of the guys account that he Hacked! i have rang the brithsh Royle mail sorting office and the IJETS told me once i send somthing in the post i automaticaly lose my rights to do anything about it and she was not going to be able to Intersept it in the uk sorting ofice!?
I rang the british police they took my name / number and details of what happened and they said they will ring me back..

its been one long hell of a day

I know youre having a bad day and all...

no matter what emails you get from anyone, always, always, log into your paypal account and check you have indeed been paid for any item you sell on eBay.

Dont even trust the paid logo on your "my eBay " page as this can error sometimes too!

    Scammers are everywhere!

hi access, iv sorta calmed down alot since yesterday :) they way i look at it now It could have been an awful lot worse. i found out my aunt purchased 2 season tickets for liverpool and the never arrived. when she rang up the seller he just laught and said what tickets.. he claimed he knew nothing about the tickets. so she lodged a complaint with ebay & phone the police and there taking it from there.. she say she paid 1k sterling per season ticket, and it was ment to be a suprise for hubbys birthday... scamming ba$ters..

i wonder if i have a case against ebay , because in fairness it all seemed genuine to me and i did get the official message from ebay telling me my item had sold. all that is correct up untill i got the bogus lookalike email from paypal saying i needed to reply to them with the tracking number so they could verify the item was actualy sold....
In fairness i didn't know the *buyers account was Hacked untill i rang his home number ya know what i mean? Does anyone have a ph number for ebay?

i emailed paypal and they said to give them a ring on a dublin number but there offices are closed till tomorrow.

    what do you think folks?
