New Sky HD install with problems.

    I'm at work now till midnight so can't ring Sky until tomorrow.

    Just had Sky HD installed. Sometimes the Sky Movies HD1 and 2 asks for a pin, sometimes it doesn't. Last night, no pin request, today around 3/4pm when War of the Worlds was on it asked for a pin. Do I need to call them for a pin?

    Sky+ is not working. When I try to use it, I'm promted to ring to upgrade my sub to Sky+. Do I need to get them to activate this for me?

    Also, the volume up, down and mute on the remote does not work.

    RTFM The pin is the last four digits of your viewing card.

    Only sky can activate sky +

    Ring them now, the lines open pretty late, that is if you have your details to hand

    The installer should have set up the volume for you but again you can do this yourself by referring to the manual

    Thanks Tony. Will get the manual out first chance I get. Why a pin though? And only sometimes?

    Some programms that are on earlier are for adults, its so that children can't accidentally see "Saw II" during the day and you don't have to watch "Murder, she wrote"!
