MP4 movies not recognised

I've updated my nephews PS3 to the latest update (1.82) which says that it should now play the latest mp4 movies. But it still wont recognise them. Anyone else having problems with it? I'd downloaded some game trailers from gametrailers.com from the E3 conference for the newphem and went to play them on the PS3 via the memory stick. I can see a list of the .mp4 movies, but it says they are an unsupported formatn

Anyone else having an issue or is anyone using mp4s at all :eek:
